Today, Dr. Ayman Mukhtar, the governor of Dakahlia, received Alaa Farouk, the president of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, to inaugurate the Agricultural Bank branch in the village of Meet Gharab in the Sanbalaween district.

This is part of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s directives to develop agriculture, support farmers, and provide financial and logistical support.

The initiative is in line with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly’s directives and is closely monitored by Minister Hisham Amin, the Minister of Local Development.

During the event, Dr. Mukhtar expressed gratitude to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for his national services and projects across various service sectors in the context of building the new republic. The governor emphasized that the goal of establishing new branches of the Agricultural Bank is to provide banking services to all farmers in villages, encouraging increased production and cultivation of strategic crops.

Dr. Mukhtar praised the new branch for meeting the highest specifications in delivering all banking and financial services needed by the residents of Dakahlia, especially in the village of Meet Gharab and its surroundings.

He commended the role of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank in providing easy loans to farmers to boost production, increase productivity, and support agricultural necessities.

The president of the Agricultural Bank highlighted President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi’s directive to provide comprehensive support to farmers and promote agriculture to enhance national economic growth, as agriculture is a crucial pillar of Egypt’s economy.

It’s noteworthy that the Meet Gharab branch is the latest addition to the Egyptian Agricultural Bank’s branches, part of their expansion plan to cover all cities and villages nationwide by establishing new branches and reopening refurbished ones, aligning with the bank’s strategy to enhance financial inclusion with high banking quality standards.
