Agricultural Bank of Egypt Launches ‘Hand in Hand’ for Rural Development in Dakahlia Governorate

The national initiative “Hand in Hand” was launched today from Dakahlia Governorate, which is launched by Agricultural Bank of Egypt in all governorates of the republic to support the most needy families, and support the state’s efforts to achieve the goals of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” for rural development and development.
This came in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, on the necessity of joining all efforts to improve the quality of life of citizens to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development, and to provide all aspects of support and care for the first families in need of care to improve their standard of living to face the requirements of living.
On this occasion, the bank organized a public conference at the Mansoura Culture Palace in the Dakahlia Governorate, in the presence of Dr. Ayman Mokhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, and MP Hisham El-Hosary, Chairman of the Agriculture and Irrigation Committee in the House of Representatives.
The conference witnessed the announcement of the in-kind contributions provided by the bank and benefiting thousands of the first families in need of care in the centers and villages of Dakahlia, in coordination and cooperation between the Agricultural Bank of Egypt and the executive and popular bodies in the Dakahlia Governorate.
The conference was attended by Sami Abdel-Sadeq, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Bank, Abdel-Hamid Al-Shabouri, Head of the East Delta Region, and a number of the bank’s leaders, members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and Dr. Wael Abdel-Aziz, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Dakahlia.
During his speech at the conference, Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, affirmed that the initiative (Hand in Hand .. For the Future of the Nation) is a national initiative launched by the Agricultural Bank of Egypt in cooperation with the executive and popular bodies in the governorates, from the perspective of its national role in supporting and supporting the state’s efforts to achieve rural development and achieve the goals of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” launched by the President of the Republic, which represents a great achievement that is added to the unprecedented achievements that he achieved, despite the current challenges.
He added: We aim through this initiative to provide all aspects of support to the most needy families in all governorates of the republic, to ease the burden on the largest number of families and provide them with a decent life.
Farouk pointed out that the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, in addition to its role in financing the agricultural sector and achieving agricultural development, also works to achieve rural development by financing small and micro productive activities to provide job opportunities for young people and empower rural women to improve their standard of living.
Farouk thanked the Governor of Dakahlia for his continuous cooperation with the Agricultural Bank to provide all aspects of support to the farmers and the first families in need of care in Dakahlia, adding: What we offer today is a national duty, and a small part of our responsibilities towards our people everywhere in Egypt.
For his part, Dr. Ayman Mokhtar, Governor of Dakahlia, indicated that the President of the Republic directed the joining of all efforts of the state’s devices and institutions in cooperation with civil society to provide all aspects of support to the first families in need of care by providing all assistance and disbursing solidarity and dignity assistance and establishing micro-projects for these families.
He also indicated that Dakahlia is the first governorate from which the initiative “Hand in Hand ... For the Future of the Nation” is launched to support the first families, and we work through cooperation and partnership with all state institutions to implement such initiatives to serve our people in Dakahlia.
He appreciated the social role played by the Agricultural Bank towards the first families in need of care by providing in-kind assistance and providing the necessary financing.
