NBE Expands Presence in Sinai, Inaugurates Branch with Diverse Financial Services

Major Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha, the Governor of North Sinai, accompanied by Mohamed Sanad, the Head of the Suez Canal and East Region at the National Bank, inaugurated the bank's branch in the city of Nakhel in central Sinai.

The governor emphasized that the bank branch will provide diverse banking services to the residents of the cities of Nakhel and Al-Hasana in central Sinai. He also mentioned the allocation of 4 residential units as accommodations for the bank employees.

The governor highlighted that the National Bank in North Sinai is prominent in financial transactions and plays a significant role in collaboration with the governorate's general administration. The bank is financing the construction of 5 water desalination stations in the villages of Sheikh Zuweid at a cost of EGP9 mn .

Mohamed Sanad, Head of the Suez Canal and East Region at the National Bank, stated that the bank branch will offer financial inclusion services in accordance with CBE's policy, in addition to providing various banking services to citizens.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mohsen Salem, the head of Nakhel center and city, Fayez Abu Harb, Jazi Saad, members of the parliamentary group for the governorate, as well as tribal leaders and natural authorities.
