alBaraka Bank, EBank, and Suez Canal Bank, Fastest-growing listed banks in retail loans At 9M- 2023

According to First Bank list of the fastest-growing listed banks in retail loans, alBaraka Bank topped the list with a growth rate of 60.12%, reaching a total portfolio of EGP6.919 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP4.321 bn by the end of December 2022.
The list, including 11 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, reveals positive growth rates in retail loan portfolios for all banks analyzed during the period from January to September 2023.
EBank secured the second position with a growth rate of 51.09%, reaching a total retail loan portfolio of EGP6.852 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP4.535 bn by the end of December 2022.
Suez Canal Bank claimed the third position with a growth rate of 29.67%, registering EGP3.575 bn in retail loans by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP2.757 bn by the end of December 2022.
Faisal Islamic Egyptian Bank ranked fourth with a growth rate of 23.68%, reaching a total retail loan portfolio of EGP3.102 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP2.508 bn by the end of December 2022.
The fifth position was secured by the Housing and Development Bank, with a growth rate of 13.44%, recording EGP24.043 bn in individual loans by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP21.194 bn by the end of December 2022.
