HD Bank, CIB, and QNB ALAHLI, Fastest-growing listed banks in retail deposits during 9M-2023

According to First Bank list of listed banks The list reveals that HDBank topped the chart with a growth rate of 65.67%, increasing their total portfolio to over EGP45 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP27.23 bn at the end of December 2022.
The list, including 11 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, indicates positive growth rates in the total portfolios of retail deposits for all banks from January to September 2023.
Commercial International Bank secured the second position with a growth rate of 34.29% during the first 9 months of the current year, as its total portfolio of retail deposits reached EGP359.76 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP267.90 bn at the end of December 2022.
Qatar National Bank Al Ahli claimed the third position with a growth rate of 17.82% during the first 9 months of the current year, as its total portfolio of retail deposits rose to EGP170.47 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 144.68 bn at the end of December 2022.
Egyptian Export Development Bank secured the fourth position with a growth rate of 16.43% during the first 9 months of the current year, as its total portfolio of retail deposits reached EGP15.35 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP13.19 bn at the end of December 2022.
Egyptian Gulf Bank (EGBANK) came in fifth with a growth rate of 13.42%, reaching EGP19.83 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP17.49 bn at the end of December 2022.
