Credit Agricole Bank, QNB AlAhli, and ADIB Egypt, Fastest growing listed banks in corporate deposits At 9M-2023

The list of First Bank for the fastest growing banks in corporate deposits during the first 9 months of the current year revealed the leadership of Credit Agricole - Egypt with a growth rate of 54.30%, after its total portfolio rose to EGP55.888 bn at the end of September 2023, compared to EGP36.220 bn at the end of December 2022.
The list, which included 11 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, disclosed that 10 banks of the banks under analysis achieved positive growth rates in the total portfolio of corporate deposits with them, while one bank achieved a decline rate in the portfolio of corporate deposits with it during the period from January to September 2023.
The 10 listed banks were able to increase their portfolios of corporate deposits by a growth rate of 21.28% and a value of EGP171.9 bn during the first 9 months of the current year, to reach a total value of EGP979.7 bn at the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 807.8 bn at the end of December 2022.
Returning to the list, Qatar National Bank ALAHLI won the second place with a growth rate of 24.96% during the first 9 months of the current year, to record EGP327.873 bn at the end of September 2023, compared to EGP262.387 bn at the end of December 2022.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt came in third place with a growth rate of 22.90% during the first 9 months of the current year, after the total portfolio of corporate deposits with it rose to EGP59.379 bn at the end of September 2023, compared to EGP48.313 bn at the end of December 2022.
saib won the fourth place with a growth rate of 22.30% during the first 9 months of the current year, after the size of the portfolio of corporate deposits with it jumped to EGP 61.188 bn at the end of September 2023, compared to EGP50.031 bn at the end of December 2022. Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt ranked fifth with a growth rate of 19.03% during the first 9 months of the current year, after the total portfolio of corporate deposits with it reached EGP4.842 bn at the end of September 2023, compared to EGP4.068 bn at the end of December 2022, followed by Egyptian Bank for Export Development with a growth rate of 18.70% during the same period.
It is worth noting that all values and growth rates mentioned in the analysis above are according to separate financial statements announced for each bank at the end of September 2023.
