Agricultural Bank of Egypt witnesses the delivery of 3,000 food coupons to needy families

Yesterday, Governor Tarek El feki of Sohag witnessed the delivery of 3,000 food coupons, each worth EGP200, totaling EGP600,000. The coupons were provided by the Egyptian Agricultural Bank to the Directorate of Social Solidarity in Sohag for distribution to the most needy families.
The event was attended by Ibrahim Attia, CEO of Agricultural Bank of Egypt’s branches, Imran Ahmed, the head of the South Upper Egypt region, Yahya Farag, the head of the Agricultural Bank’s sector in Sohag, Alaa Metwally, the head of the projects sector, and Raafat El-Saman, the deputy minister of social solidarity in the governorate.
Governor Sohag instructed the precise selection of eligible recipients, expressing gratitude to the officials of the Agricultural Bank for their fruitful cooperation with the governorate in various fields. He emphasized the importance of community participation for all entities and institutions and expanding the scope of social protection measures.
Ibrahim Attia mentioned that providing food coupons was in line with the directives of Alaa Farouk, the chairman of the board of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, as part of a series of measures taken by the bank to intensify community activities and reach the most needy families.
He pointed out that the coupons are vouchers for purchasing meat and food items sourced from the Ministry of Supply, adding that the Agricultural Bank gifted Sohag Governorate 150 electrical devices for preparing brides from the first-care categories.
