Agricultural bank of Egypt Empowers Vulnerable Families and Supports Rural Development

Alaa Farouk, the Chairman of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, along with Dr. Tarek Rahmi, Governor of Gharbia, and General Hisham El-Hosary, the head of the Agriculture and Irrigation Committee in the Parliament, attended yesterday the Agricultural Bank’s conference to support vulnerable families and provide bridal assistance within the framework of the “Hand in Hand” initiative.
Assistance, including wedding support for 100 brides with electrical appliances, was provided. Additionally, food items and essential goods were distributed to thousands of families under care in the Gharbia Governorate. This was done in coordination between the Egyptian Agricultural Bank and the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
The event was attended by Sami Abdel-Sadek, the Vice Chairman of the Agricultural Bank’s Board of Directors, Saleh El-Shamy, the Executive Credit Advisor, Senator Mohamed Aribi, a member of the Senate, and Mohamed Assaf, the Director of the Agricultural Bank in Gharbia.
In his speech, Alaa Farouk, the Chairman of the Agricultural Bank, affirmed that the “Hand in Hand for the Future of the Nation” initiative is a national effort launched by the bank to support rural development and achieve the goals of the presidential initiative for a dignified life. He emphasized their commitment to providing services in partnership with Gharbia Governorate.
The Governor of Gharbia began his speech by expressing gratitude to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for establishing the foundations of the new republic that cares for all segments of society. He praised the diversity of contributors who donated to bring joy to 100 girls and 100 boys in Gharbia. The Governor thanked the Agricultural Bank and the members of the Parliament for their consistent support to the people of the governorate.
It is worth noting that the national initiative “Hand in Hand for the Future of the Nation” is launched by the Egyptian Agricultural Bank across all governorates to support the most vulnerable families and aid the state’s efforts in achieving the presidential initiative “Dignified Life” for rural development.
This initiative is in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to combine efforts to improve citizens’ quality of life for comprehensive and sustainable development, providing support and care to families in need to enhance their living standards and meet their livelihood requirements.
