Corporate loans at saib grow by 11.6% recording EGP 34.5 bn by September- 2023 end

The financial statements of saib, ending in September 2023, revealed a total increase in corporate loans by 11.6%, an increase of EGP 3.582 bn during the first 9M of the current year.

The total portfolio of corporate loans in the bank reached approximately EGP 34.482 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 30.900bn by the end of December 2022, accounting for 74.21% of the total customer loans.

Additionally, direct loan portfolio of the bank increased by 8%, reaching about EGP 7.573 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 7.024 bn by the end of December 2022, an increase of EGP 549.1 mn.

Furthermore, syndicated loan portfolio of the bank increased by 21% with an increase of EGP 2.419 bn during the first 9 months of the current year, reaching approximately EGP 14.111 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 11.692 bn by the end of December 2022.

Total loans and facilities for customers increased by 11%, reaching EGP 46.467 bn by the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 41.869 bn by the end of December 2022, an increase of EGP 4.6bn.
