First Bank List Of Egyptian Banks With The Fastest Growth In Total Customer Loans During The First 9 months Of The Current Year Revealed That First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 69.26%, With A Total Portfolio Of Around EGP82.94 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP49Bn At The End Of December 2022.
The List, Which Included 23 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector With Available Financial Data During The Analysis Period, Showed That All Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Total Loan Portfolios From January To September 2023.
Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt "ABK-Egypt" Came In Second Place With A Growth Rate Of 24.93% During The First 9M Of The Current Year, With A Total Customer Loans Of EGP43.29bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 34.65 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
Third Place Was Taken By NBK Egypt With A Growth Rate Of 24.78% During The First 9 months of The Current Year, With A Total Loan Portfolio Of EGP 68.57 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 54.95 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
As For The Fourth Place, It Was Secured By Arab African International Bank After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 23.42% In Its Total Customer Loan Portfolio During The First 9M Of The Current Year, Reaching EGP 155.68 Bn (Equivalent To $5.029 Bn) By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP126.14Bn (Equivalent To $5.089 Bn) At The End Of December 2022, Followed By Attijariwafa Bank With A Growth Rate Of 22.80% During The Same Period.
EBank Ranked Sixth With A Growth Rate Of 20.67% During The First 9M Of The Current Year, As Its Total Customer Loan Portfolio Jumped From EGP 44.82 Bn At The End Of December 2022 To EGP 54.08 Bn By The End Of September 2023,
As For The Seventh Place, It Was Taken By Agricultural Bank Of Egypt After Its Total Customer Loan Portfolio Increased By 19.43% During The First 9M-2023, Reaching EGP72bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP60.29bn At The End Of December 2022, Followed By Ahli United Bank- Egypt With A Growth Rate Of 18.96% During The Same Period.
Emirates NBD-Egypt Ranked Ninth With A Growth Rate Of 17.79% With A Total Customer Loans Of EGP54.66bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 46.40 Bn At The End Of December 2022. Followed By EGBANK With Growth Rate Of 17.04% During The First 9 months Of The Current Year.
