Stocks of alBaraka Bank and EBank: The highest increase at the close of EGX trading on Thursday
First Bank
First Bank list reveals the performance of listed bank stocks on the Egyptian Stock Exchange at the end of trading today, Thursday, January 4, 2024, the stock of alBaraka Bank led the bank gains, rising by 13.18%, to close at EGP 12.11 at the end of today's trading, compared to an opening price of EGP 10.70.
The list indicated increases in the stocks of 4 banks and decreases in 5 banks. Returning to the list, EBank’s stock secured the second position with a 5.67% increase, closing at EGP 24.98, compared to an opening price of EGP 23.64.
The stock of SC Bank rose to third position by 1.70%, to record a closing price of EGP 12.57 at the end of today's trading, compared to an opening price of EGP 12.36.
CIB’s stock increased by 1.49%, closing at EGP 75.00, compared to the opening price of EGP 73.90.
In terms of declines, ADIB-Egypt Fell by 0.31%, closing at EGP 38.38, compared to the opening price of EGP 38.50.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt’s stock (EGP) declined by 0.78%, closing at EGP 33.25, while the opening price was EGP 33.51.
QNB Al-Ahly’s stock Fell by 0.89%, closing at EGP 30.11, compared to the opening price of EGP 30.38.
HDB’s stock declined by 1.38%, closing at EGP 39.21, compared to the opening price of EGP 39.76.
Credit Agricole Bank’s stock declined by 1.82%, closing at EGP 21.61, compared to the opening price of EGP 22.01.
Regarding Banks traded in dollars, the stock of EGBANK increased by 2.58%, to record a closing price of $0.318, compared to the opening price of $0.310 While Faisal Bank stock($) settled at the closing price of $0.990.
