According To First Bank List Of Fastest-Growing Banks In Syndicated Loans, Banque Misr Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 41.66% In The First 9M Of The last Year, Increasing Its Total Portfolio To EGP 302.1 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 213.3 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
The List Revealed The Total Syndicated Loans Of 20 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector,For Which Financial Data Were Available For Analysis, And 15 Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In The Syndicated Loans, While 5 Banks Experienced A Decline In Their Syndicated Loan Portfolios From January To September 2023.
Returning to the list, Ahli United Bank - Egypt Secured The Second Position With A Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio Growth Rate Of 34.42% During The First 9M Of The last Year, Reaching EGP 8.833 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 6.571 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
aiBANK Claimed The Third Position With A Growth Rate Of 28.65% In The First 9M Of The last Year, Reaching A Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio Of EGP 2.483 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To 1.930 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Housing and Development Bank Came In Fourth Place With A Growth Rate Of 20.94% During The First 9M Of the last Year, After The Bank’s Total Portfolio Of Syndicated Loans Rose To EGP 2.553Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 2.111 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
As For Fifth Place, saib Obtained It After Achieving A Growth Rate Of 20.69% In Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio During The First 9M Of the last Year, To Record EGP 14.111 Bn At The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 11.692 Bn At The End Of December 2022.
Arab African International Bank Ranked Sixth With A Growth Rate Of 18.22% During The First 9M Of The last Year, Recording A Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio Of EGP 49.213 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 41.628 Bn By The End Of December 2022, Followed By Banque Du Caire With A Growth Rate Of 15.25% During The Same Period.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt Secured The Eighth Position With A Growth Rate Of 14.16% During The period from January to September of the last year, With Its Syndicated Loans Increasing To EGP 407 Mn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 356.5 bn By The End Of December 2022.
Suez Canal Bank Grabbed The Ninth Position With A Growth Rate Of 12.62% During The First 9M Of The last Year, As Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Increased To EGP10.819 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 9.607 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank - Egypt (ADCB) Secured The Tenth Position With A Growth Rate Of 10.42% During The First 9M Of The last Year, With Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Reaching EGP 1.875 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 1.698 Bn By The End Of December 2022, followed by Ebank and CIB with growth rates of 10.28% and 9.62% respectively during the same period.
