According To First Bank List Of Fastest-Growing Banks In Direct Loans, HD Bank Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 54.24% During The First 9m-2023, Increasing Its Portfolio To EGP 9.44 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 6.12 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
The List Revealed The Total Direct Loans Of 21 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Based On The Financial Data Available For Analysis During The Period. It Showed That 20 Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Direct Loan Portfolios, While One Bank Experienced A Decline From January To September 2023.
EGBANK Secured The Second Position, With A Growth Rate Of 53.27% In Their Direct Loan Portfolio During The First 9 months Of last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 13.02 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 8.50 Bn By The End Of December 2022, Followed By Banque du Caire With A Growth Rate Of 46.51% During The Same Period.
NBK- Egypt Came In Fourth Place, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 30.08% In Its Total Direct Loan Portfolio During The First 9 months Of last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP51.33 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP39.461 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
As For The Fifth Position, It Was Claimed By ABK - Egypt, With A Growth Rate Of 29.11% During The First 9 months Of last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 18.39 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP14.24Bn By The End Of December 2022.
ADCB-Egypt Secured The sixth Position, With Its Direct Loan Portfolio Growing By 26.76% During The First 9 months Of last Year, Rising To EGP 17.66 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 13.93 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Commercial International Bank - Egypt "CIB" Secured The Seventh Position, With Its Direct Loan Portfolio Increasing By 21.76% During The First 9 months Of last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 95.01 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 78.030 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Ahli United Bank Ranked Eight With A Growth Rate Of 20.10% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The First 9 months Of last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP47.17 bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 39.28 Bn By The End Of December 2022, Followed By Banque Misr With A Growth Rate Of 20.07% During The Same Period.
aiBank Ranked Tenth With A Growth Rate Of 18.93% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The First 9 months of last Year, Recording A Value Of EGP13.98Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 11.75 Bn By The End Of December 2022. It Was Followed By AAIB With A Growth Rate Of 16.79% During The Same Period.
