First Bank Index, Which Analyzed Financial Data Provided By 24 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Highlighted The Increase In Deposit Portfolios Banks During The First 9 Months Of last Year.

CIB Secured The Second Position By Increasing Its Customer Deposit Portfolio By EGP 135.8 Bn During The First 9 months Of The last Year, Totaling Approximately EGP 665.9 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 530.1 Bn By The End Of December 2022.

Banque Misr Secured The third Position, Increasing Its Deposit Portfolio By EGP 123.70 Bn During The First 9M 2023, Reaching Around EGP 1.85 tn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 1.73 tn By The End Of December 2022.

Arab African International Bank Ranked Fourth After Increasing Its Deposit Portfolio By EGP 108.1 Bn During The 9 months Of last Year, Reaching Around EGP 326.43 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Up From EGP 218.3 Bn By The End Of December 2022.

Qatar National Bank - Egypt (QNB) Secured The Fifth Position, Increasing Its Deposit Portfolio By EGP 91.3 Bn During The First Half Of The Current Year, Reaching Around EGP 498.3 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 407.1 Bn By The End Of December 2022.

Agricultural Bank Of Egypt Claimed The Sixth Position By Increasing Its Deposit Portfolio By EGP 32.5 Bn During The First 9 months Of last Year, Reaching EGP 169.6 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Up From EGP 141.2 Bn By The End Of December 2022.

 It Was Followed By Ahli United Bank With An Increase Of EGP 14.5 Bn During The Same Period.

In The seventh Position Was Emeritus NBD, Which Increased Its Deposit Portfolio By EGP 25.5 Bn During The First 9 Months of last Year, Reaching EGP 110.7 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 85.2 Bn By The End Of December 2022, Banque Du Caire Followed With An Increase Of EGP 24.3 Bn During The Same Period.

Credit Agricole - Egypt Secured The Ninth Position, With Its Deposit Portfolio Rising By EGP 20.3 Bn During The First 9M -2023, Totaling About EGP 80.8 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 60.5 Bn By The End Of December 2022.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt Claimed The Tenth Position, With Its Customer Deposit Portfolio Increasing By EGP 17.8 Bn During The First 9 months 2023, Reaching Around EGP 115.5 Bn By The End Of September 2023 Compared To EGP 97.7 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
