First Bank List Of The Fastest-Growing Listed Banks In Credit Cards during last Year Revealed That Egyptian Export Development Bank Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 160.04%, Reaching A Portfolio Size Of EGP 169.734 Mn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 65.272 Mn By The End Of December 2022.  

The List, Comprising 10 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Disclosed Positive Growth Rates In The Total Credit Card Portfolios Of All Banks During The Period From January To December 2023. Faisal Islamic Egyptian Bank Was Absent From The Ranking Due To The Unavailability Of Its Portfolio Value In Its Financial Statements.  

AlBaraka, Secured The Second Position With A Growth Rate Of 102.08% during last year, Reaching A Credit Card Portfolio Size Of EGP 60.030 Mn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 29.706 Mn By The End Of December 2022. 

The Third Position Went To EGBANK, Egyptian Gulf Bank, With A Credit Card Portfolio Growth Rate Of 79.07% During last Year, Recording EGP 178.308 Mn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 99.575 Mn By The End Of December 2022.  

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt (ADIB) Claimed The Fourth Spot With A Growth Rate Of 46.56%, As Its Credit Card Portfolio Reached EGP 848.107 Mn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 578.688 Mn By The End Of December 2022.  

Commercial International Bank Egypt Ranked Fifth With A Growth Rate Of 34.85% during last year, Reaching A Credit Card Portfolio Size Of EGP 10.298 bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 7.636 bn By The End Of December 2022.
