First Bank List Of Listed Banks With The Fastest Growth In Syndicated Loans During The last Year Revealed That Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 123.04%, Recording A Syndicated Loan Portfolio Size Of EGP795.05 mn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP356.46Mn By The End Of December 2022.
The List, Which Included 11 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange (Excluding Faisal Islamic Egyptian Bank), Disclosed That 7 Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Syndicated Loan Portfolios, While 3 Other Banks Recorded Declines In The Size Of Their Syndicated Loan Portfolios From January To December 2023.
Returning To The List, Housing And Development Bank Claimed The Second Position After Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Jumped By 55.47% During The last Year, Reaching EGP13.28 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP2.11 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
saib Secured The Third Position With A Growth Rate Of 18.83% During The last Year, As Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Increased To EGP 13.89 bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP11.69 bn By The End Of December 2022.
As For The Fourth Position, It Was Secured By CIB After Its Syndicated Loan Portfolio Jumped By 14.73% During The Last Year, Reaching EGP 51.31 Bn By The End Of December 2023, compared to EGP44.72 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Suez Canal Bank Achieved The Fifth Position With A Growth Rate Of 13.80% During The First last Year, As Its Total Syndicated Loan Portfolio Rose To EGP10.93 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 9.61 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
