According To First Bank List Of Listed Banks Most Concentrated On Customer Loans, EBank Topped The List With A Rate Of 44.84% After Its Net Customer Loan Portfolio Reached EGP52.4bn By The End Of December 2023, While Its Asset Portfolio Amounted To EGP 116.8 Bn during The last Year.
First Bank List Revealed The Investment Trends Of Listed Banks On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Specifically In Terms Of Net Customer Loan Portfolios. It Relies On The Metric Of "Net Customer Net Loans/Assets" To Provide An Indicator Of How Much A Bank's Assets Are Concentrated In The Customer Loans Category.
Returning To The List, QNB Al Ahli Took The Second Position With A Net Customer Loan Portfolio Concentration Of 40.69% Of Its Total Assets Valued At EGP 620.5 Bn, While Its Net Customer Loans Amounted To Approximately EGP 252.5 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
The Third Position Was Secured By saib, With 40.25 % Of Its Total Assets Concentrated In Its Net Customer Loan Portfolio, Valued At EGP 43.4 Bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Reached EGP 107.8 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
As For The Fourth Position, It Was Attained By Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt, With 39.56% Of Its Total Assets Concentrated In Its Net Customer Loan Portfolio, Valued At EGP 63.5 Bn, While The Bank's Total Assets Amounted To Approximately EGP 160.6 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Credit Agricole Egypt Ranked Fifth, With A Concentration Of 38.64% Of Its Total Assets Of EGP 106 Bn In Its Net Customer Loan Portfolio, Which Amounted To EGP 41Bn By The End Of December 2023. Following Closely Were alBaraka And HD Bank In The Sixth And Seventh Positions, With Concentration Of 38.42% And 33.50%, Respectively, By The End Of The Same Period.
