Bank's Retail Deposits Accounted For 96.25% Of The Total Customer Deposits, Amounting To EGP 130.5 Bn By The End Of December 2023 The Bank's Portfolio Of Retail Deposits Stood At EGP 125.6 Bn During The Same Period.
The List Reveals The Strategies Of The Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange In Structuring Their Deposit Portfolios, Specifically In Terms Of Diversifying Certificate Offerings And Products To Attract More Customers. Commercial International Bank (CIB) Egypt Secured the Second Position, With 54.70% Of Its Deposit Portfolio Valued At EGP 675.3 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Dedicated To Retail Deposits, Which Amounted To EGP 369.4 Bn During The Same Period.
Housing And Development Bank Ranked Third, With 50.49% Of Its Total Deposit Portfolio Of EGP 101.3 Bn By The End Of December 2023 Dedicated To Retail Deposits, Which Amounted To EGP 51.1 Bn During The Same Period.
alBaraka Bank Egypt Claimed The Fourth Position, With 49.02% Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Totaling EGP 85 Bn, Dedicated To Retail Deposits Amounting To Approximately EGP 41.7 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
The Fifth Position Went To Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt With 45.40% Of Its Deposit Portfolio, Valued At EGP 127.1 Bn, Focused On Retail Deposits Amounting To EGP 45.40 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
