The List, Including 11 Banks Listed On The Egyptian Stock Exchange, Disclosed That All Banks Achieved Positive Return Rates On Average Assets, Attributed To Varying Levels Of Success In Generating Net Profits From January To December 2023 Without Any Reported Losses.
Return On Average Assets Measures Banks’ Efficiency In Investing Their Assets To Achieve Net Profits During The Analyzed Period. The Higher The Return, The More Efficient The Bank Is In Generating Suitable Profit Levels.
Returning To The List, Housing And Development Bank Secured The Second Position With A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 5.27% During 2023, Due To Its Net Profit Rising To EGP6.031 Bn During the last year.
Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) Claimed The Third Position On The List With A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 3.92% during the 2023, Thanks To The Bank’s Achievement Of A Net Profit Of EGP28.768 Bn During 2023.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt Secured The Fourth Position With A Return On Average Assets Rate Of 3.25%, Having Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP4.491Bn During 2023.
EBank Ranked Fifth, Achieving A Return Rate On Average Assets Of 2.92% during the last Year, Recording A Net Profit Of Around EGP3.120 Bn During The Same Period.
