FirstBank List Of The Fastest-Growing Banks In Customer Deposits During The First 9 months Of The Current Year Revealed That The Arab African International Bank Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 49.51%, As Its Total Portfolio Reached EGP 326.4 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 218.3 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
The List Included 23 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector, With Their Financial Data Available For Analysis. It Revealed That all Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Customer Deposit Portfolios, From January To September 2023.
First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt Secured The Second Position On The List With A 45% Growth Rate In Its Customer Deposit Portfolio During The First 9M Of The Current Year, Increasing From EGP 138.2 Bn By The End Of December 2022 To reach EGP 200.3 Bn By The End Of September 2023.
Credit Agricole Egypt Took The Third Position After Its Customer Deposit Portfolio Grew By 33.50% During The First 9M Of The Current Year, Reaching Approximately EGP 80.8 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 60.5 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Fifth On The List Was Emirates NBD Egypt, Which Achieved A 29.89% Growth In Its Customer Deposit Portfolio During The First 9M Of The Current Year, Reaching EGP 110.7 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 85.2Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Commercial international Bank-CIB Ranked Sixth With A Growth Rate Of 25.61% In Its Customer Deposit Portfolio During The First 9M Of The Current Year, As Its Total Deposits Reached EGP 665.9 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 530.1 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
QNB Al Ahli Took The Seventh Position With A Growth Rate Of 22.42% During The First 9M of The Current Year, Recording Total Deposits Of EGP 498.3 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 407.1 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Ahli United Bank Ranked Eighth With A Growth Rate Of 20.49% In Its Customer Deposit Portfolio During The First 9M Of The Current Year, As Its Total Deposits Reached EGP 84.1 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 69.8 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Agricultural Bank Of Egypt Secured The Ninth Position After Its Customer Deposit Portfolio Grew By 20.36% During The First 9 Months Of The Current Year, Rising From EGP 141.2 Bn By The End Of December 2022 To EGP 170 Bn By The End Of September 2023.
EBank Came In Tenth Place With A Growth Rate Of 18.29% During The First 9M Of The Current Year, As Its Total Customer Deposit Portfolio Reached Approximately EGP 86.2 Bn By The End Of September 2023, Compared To EGP 72.9 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
