According To the Latest First Bank Report Ranking The Best Banks In Loans-To-Deposit Ratio (Loans/Deposits) By The End Of December 2023 Revealed That Ahli United Bank – Egypt Topped The List, With An Employment Rate Of 74.56%, After Total Loan Portfolio Reached EGP 67.15 Bn While Its Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP 90.6 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
First Bank List Analyzed Loans To Deposit Ratios Among 24 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Based On Their Financial Data For The Analysis Period. The Report Revealed That 23 Banks Achieved Commendable Deployment Rates Ranging From 39.21% To 74.56% By During the Last Year.
Securing The Second Position On The List Is National Bank Of Kuwait - Egypt With A Rate Of 71.80%. The Bank's Loan Portfolio Reached EGP 76.06Bn, While Its Deposit Portfolio Stood At EGP105.93Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Taking The Third Spot Is NBE With An Employment Rate Of 63.53%. The Bank's Customer Loan Portfolio Reached EGP2.29 Tn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Amounted To EGP 2.60 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
EBank Secured The Fourth Position On The List With A Deposit Employment Rate Of 62.83%. The Bank's Customer Loan Portfolio Amounted To EGP 54.62 Bn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP86.93 Bn By The End Of December 2023.
Claiming The Fifth Place Is Emeritus NBD With An Employment Rate Of 58.67%. The Bank's Deposit Portfolio Amounted To EGP 60.07 Bn By The End Of December 2023, While Its Customer Loan Portfolio Reached EGP 102.66 Bn During The Same Period Of 2023.
AttijariWafa Bank Secured The Sixth Position On The List With A Deposit Employment Rate Of 57.64%. The Bank's Customer Loan Portfolio Amounted To EGP 44.02 Bn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP76.38 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Following Closely, Banque Du Cairo Achieved A 57.57% During The Same Period Of 2023.
ABK- Egypt Ranked Eighth With 56.55%. The Bank's Customer Loans Totaled EGP 46.97 Bn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Amounted To EGP 83.06 Bn By The End Of The Previous December.
Saib Claimed The Ninth Position With A Deposit Deployment Rate Of 54.22%. The Bank's Customer Loan Portfolio Surged To EGP 46.28 Bn, And Its Deposit Portfolio Increased To EGP 85.35 Bn By The End Of December 2023 Followed by ADIB Egypt, and alBaraka, With A Deposit Deployment Rates Of 53.46%, 51.34% respectively During The Same Period.
