EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 39.903 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during April 18 2024, the index reached 39.903 points, compared to 39.780 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against all Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against US dollar, Japanese Yen, pound sterling, UAE dirham, Euro, Chinese Yuan, and Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt Fell from EGP 48.55 to EGP 48.38 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.44 to EGP 48.28 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 51.67 to EGP 51.61 while the average buying Fell from EGP 51.54 to EGP 51.48 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 60.49 to EGP 60.24 while the average buying fell from EGP 60.35 to EGP 60.10 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 31.39 to EGP 31.32 while the average buying Fell from EGP 31.32 to EGP 31.26 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 6.70 to EGP 6.68 while the average buying fell from EGP 6.69 to EGP 6.67 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt Fell from EGP 13.22 to EGP 13.17 while the average buying decreased from EGP13.19 EGP 13.14 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal declined Fell from EGP 12.94 to EGP 12.89 while the average buying decreased from EGP12.91 EGP 12.87 at the end of today's trading.
