EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 40.339 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during April 7 2024, the index reached 40.339 points, compared to 40.491 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against all Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against Euro, pound sterling US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Japanese Yen, and Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 47.42 to EGP 47.62 while the average buying increased from EGP 47.32 to EGP 47.52 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 51.48 to EGP 51.61 while the average buying rose from EGP 51.36 to EGP 51.49 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 60.00 to EGP 60.19 while the average buying rose from EGP 59.86 to EGP 60.04 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 31.25 to EGP 31.41 while the average buying rose from EGP 31.18 to EGP 31.34 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt increased from EGP 6.55 to EGP EGP6.58 at the end of today's trading. while the average buying rose from EGP 6.54 to EGP 6.56 .

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal increased from EGP 12.64 to EGP 12.69 while the average buying rose from EGP 12.61 to EGP 12.66 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 12.91 to EGP 12.96 while the average buying increased from EGP12.88 EGP 12.93 at the end of today's trading.
