EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 40.491 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during April 4 2024, the index reached 40.491 points, compared to 40.549 points at Yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against Euro, pound sterling it rose against US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Japanese Yen, and settled against Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 50.15 to EGP 51.48 while the average buying rose from EGP 51.03 to EGP 51.36 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 59.70 to EGP 60.00 while the average buying rose from EGP 59.54 to EGP 59.86 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 47.44 to EGP 47.42 while the average buying increased from EGP 47.34 to EGP 47.32 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 31.27 to EGP 31.25 while the average buying rose from EGP 31.20 to EGP 31.18 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal decreased from EGP 12.65 to EGP 12.64 while the average buying Fell from EGP 12.62 to EGP 12.61 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt fell from EGP 12.92 to EGP 12.91 while the average buying decreased from EGP12.89 EGP 12.88 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled EGP 6.55 at the end of today's trading. while the average buying settled at EGP 6.54.
