EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 40.150 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during April 23 2024, the index reached 40.150 points, compared to 40.110 points at Yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 5 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against, US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, and fell against Euro, pound sterling.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt Fell from EGP 48.20 to EGP 48.10 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.10 to EGP 48.00 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 31.15 to EGP 31.07 while the average buying fell from EGP 31.08 to EGP 31.01 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt declined from EGP 6.65 to EGP 6.63 at the end of today's trading. while the average buying fell from EGP6.64 at EGP 6.62.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal decreased from EGP 12.85 to EGP 12.82 while the average buying declined EGP 12.82 at EGP 12.79 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt fell from EGP 13.12 to EGP 13.09 while the average buying declined from EGP13.09 EGP 13.07 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 51.30 to EGP 51.35 while the average buying increased from EGP 51.18 to EGP 51.23 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 59.41 to EGP 59.65 while the average buying rose from EGP 59.26 to EGP 59.53 at the end of today's trading.
