EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 39.893 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during April 21 2024, the index reached 39.893 points, compared to 39.903 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against US dollar, Saudi riyal, UAE dirham, it rose against pound sterling, and settled against Japanese Yen, Euro, Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.38 to EGP 48.43 while the average buying increased from EGP 48.28 to EGP 48.33 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 12.89 to EGP 12.91 while the average buying decreased from EGP12.87 EGP 12.88 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt increased from EGP 13.17 to EGP 13.18 while the average buying increased from EGP13.14 to EGP 13.15 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt settled at EGP 51.61 while the average buying rose from EGP 51.48 to EGP 51.49 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt settled at EGP 31.32 while the average buying Fell from EGP 31.26 to EGP 31.25 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 6.68 while the average buying remains stable at EGP 6.67 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 60.24 to EGP 59.93 while the average buying fell from EGP 60.10 to EGP 59.79 at the end of today's trading.
