The Egyptian pound index increased 0.362 points against the major of currencies over the week, it rose to 40.265 points, compared to 39.903 points at last Thursday's trading.

It rose against Euro, Pound Sterling, Japanese Yen, Saudi riyal, Chinese yuan, UAE Dirham, and US dollar.
The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt Fell from EGP 48.38 to EGP 47.94 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 48.28 to EGP 47.84.
The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt Fell from EGP 51.61 to EGP 51.24 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 51.48 to EGP 51.12.
The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt decreased from EGP 60.24 to EGP 59.63 over the week's trading while the average buying price decreased from EGP 60.10 to EGP 59.50.
The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 31.32 to EGP 30.93 while the buying rate declined from EGP31.26to EGP 30.87.
The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP6.68 to EGP 6.61 while the buying declined from EGP6.67 to EGP 6.60.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt fell from EGP 13.17 to EGP 13.05 while buying price declined from EGP 13.14 to EGP 13.02 at the week's trading.
