According To First Bank List Of Fastest-Growing Banks In Direct Loans, Banque du Caire Topped The List With A Growth Rate Of 95.49% During The last year, Increasing Its Portfolio To EGP 33.53Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 17.15 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
The List Revealed The Total Direct Loans Of 20 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Based On The Financial Data Available For Analysis During The Period. It Showed That 20 Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates In Their Direct Loan Portfolios, While One Bank Experienced A Decline From January To December 2023.
HD Bank Secured The Second Position, With A Growth Rate Of 65.84% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The Last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 10.15 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 6.122 Bn By The End Of December 2022, Followed By EGBANK With A Growth Rate Of 60.18% During The Same Period.
NBK- Egypt Came In Fourth Place, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 45.71% In Its Total Direct Loan Portfolio During The Last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP57.50Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP39.46 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
As For The Fifth Position, It Was Claimed By ABK - Egypt, With A Growth Rate Of 43.50% During The Last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 20.44 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP14.24Bn By The End Of December 2022.
ADCB-Egypt Secured The Sixth Position, With Its Direct Loan Portfolio Growing By 42.05% During The Last Year, Rising To EGP 19.72 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 13.93 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Attijariwafa Bank Ranked Seventh With A Growth Rate Of 32.74% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The Last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP4.87Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 3.67 Bn By The End Of December 2022, Followed By credit Agricole With A Growth Rate Of 28.47% During The Same Period.
Commercial International Bank - Egypt "CIB" Secured The Ninth Position, With Its Direct Loan Portfolio Increasing By 26.19% During the Last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 98.47 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 78.03 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
Ahli United Bank Ranked Tenth With A Growth Rate Of 25.20% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The Last Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP49.18Bn By The End Of December 2023, Compared To EGP 39.28 Bn By The End Of December 2022.
