EGP index rose against a basket of major currencies to 40.326 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during May 1 2024, the index reached 40.326 points, compared to 40.268 points at Yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the pound sterling, Euro, Japanese Yen, It Fell against US dollar, and settled against UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt declined from EGP 51.38 to EGP 51.13 while the average buying fell from EGP 51.25 to EGP 51.02 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 60.11 to EGP 59.79 while the average buying fell from EGP 59.96 to EGP 59.64 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 30.52 to EGP 30.34 while the average buying fell from EGP 30.45 to EGP 30.28 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 6.61 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying settled at EGP 6.60.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP 12.77 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying settled at EGP 11.74.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 13.04 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying settled at EGP 13.04.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 47.89 to EGP 47.91 while the average buying increased from EGP 47.79 to EGP 47.81 at the end of today's trading.
