FABMISR, SC Bank, and AAIB Top banks in Asset Coverage Ratio for Deposits by end of 2023

First Bank Has Released a List Of The best Banks In Terms Of Asset Coverage Ratio For Deposits. FABMISR Topped the List, With A Coverage Rate Of 147.50% At the End Of December 2023. The Bank's Deposits Reached EGP 200 Bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Amounted to EGP 295 Bn by December 2023 End.

Asset Coverage Ratio for Deposits Reflects Banks' Ability To Cover Their Customers' Deposits Using Their Asset Portfolios. The Ranking Is Based on The Ratio (Assets/Deposits) × 100, And Higher Values Indicate A Higher Level Of Safety Provided By The Bank To Its Depositors Across Different Segments.

The List Included 22 Banks Operating In The Egyptian Banking Sector, All Of Which Showed Strong Coverage Rates For Their Customers' Deposits By The End Of December 2023.

Suez Canal Bank Secured The Second Position With A Coverage Rate Of 139.77%. The Bank's Deposits Amounted To EGP 73.6 Bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Reached Around EGP 102.9 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

Arab African International Bank come in Third place, With A Coverage Rate Of 136.84% At the End Of December 2023. The Bank's Deposits Reached EGP 394 Bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Amounted to EGP 539.2 Bn By December 2023 End.

In The Fourth Place Was Faisal Bank, With 135.65%. Its Total Deposit Portfolio Reached EGP 130.5 bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Amounted to EGP177bn By December 2023 End.

EBank Come In Fifth Place With A Coverage Rate Of 134.30%, The Bank's Deposits Amounted To EGP 86.9 Bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Reached Around EGP116.8 bn By The End Of December 2023, Next On the List Was Banque Du Caire With A Coverage Rate Of 132.97% During The Same Period.

Saib Secured The Seventh Position With A Coverage Rate Of 126.40%, The Bank's Deposits Amounted To EGP 85.3Bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Reached Around EGP 107.9 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

ADIB Egypt Secured the Eighth Position With A Coverage Rate Of 126.37%. Its Deposits Amounted To EGP 127.1 Bn, And Its Asset Portfolio Reached EGP 160.6 Bn By The End Of The Same Period.

Credit Agricole Bank Come In Ninth Position With A Coverage Rate Of 125.92%, The Bank's Deposits Amounted To EGP 84.2 Bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Reached Around EGP 106 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

Ahli United Bank come in Tenth Place with A Coverage Rate Of 125.70%. The Bank's Deposits Amounted To EGP 90.1 Bn, While Its Asset Portfolio Reached Around EGP 113.2 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Followed By Emirates NBD, HD Bank With Coverage Rates of 124.80%,23.53% during The Same Period.
