EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 39.916 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during July 16 2024, the index reached 39.916 points, compared to 39.954 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Fell against 5 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It fell against Euro, pound sterling, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar, it rose against Japanese Yen, and settled against Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.01 to EGP 48.08 while the average buying increased from EGP 47.91 to EGP 47.98 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 52.40 to EGP 52.41 while the average buying increased from EGP 52.27 to EGP 52.28 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 62.31 to EGP 62.34 while the average buying fell from EGP 62.17 to EGP 62.21 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 12.80 to EGP 12.82 while the average buying rose from EGP 12.77 to EGP 12.79 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.07 to EGP13.09 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.04 to EGP 13.06 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 6.61, at the end of today's trading while the average buying rose from EGP 6.59 to EGP 6.60.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt declined from EGP 29.39 to EGP 30.35 while the average buying decreased from EGP 30.32 to EGP 30.28 at the end of today's trading.
