EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 39.687 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during July 17 2024, the index reached 39.687 points, compared to 39.916 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Fell against all currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar, Japanese Yen, and Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.08 to EGP 48.027 while the average buying increased from EGP 47.98 to EGP 48.17 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 52.41 to EGP 52.81 while the average buying increased from EGP 52.28 to EGP 52.68 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 62.34 to EGP 62.95 while the average buying fell from EGP 62.21 to EGP 62.80 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 30.35 to EGP 30.82 while the average buying increased from EGP 30.28 to EGP 30.76 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt increased from EGP 6.61 to EGP 6.65 at the end of today's trading, while the average buying rose from EGP 6.60 to EGP 6.63.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 12.82 to EGP 12.86 while the average buying rose from EGP 12.79 to EGP 12.84 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.09 to EGP13.14 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.06 to EGP 13.11 at the end of today's trading.
