EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 39.692 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during July 29 2024, the index reached 39.692 points, compared to 39.650 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 5 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It rose against Euro, Japanese Yen, US dollar, Chinese Yuan, pound sterling, and settled against Saudi riyal, UAE dirham.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.38 to EGP 48.37 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.28 to EGP 48.27 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 52.55 to EGP 52.40 while the average buying decreased from EGP52.42 to EGP 52.28 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP62.30 to EGP 62.13 while the average buying declined from EGP 62.15 to EGP 61.99 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 31.47 to EGP 31.46 while the average buying fell from EGP 30.41 to EGP 31.39 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt declined from EGP6.67 to EGP 6.66 while the average buying settled at EGP 6.65 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP12.89 while the average buying decreased from EGP 12.807 to EGP 12.86 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 13.17 while the average buying settled at EGP 13.14 at the end of today's trading.
