First Bank List Of The Most Efficient Banks In Terms Of Return On Average Assets During The first quarter of the current Year, Revealed Faisal Bank Leading The List With An Average Return On Assets Of 3.05%, Having Achieved A Net Profit EGP 6 Bn During Q1- 2024.
The List Included 22 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, All Of Which Achieved Positive Rates In Return On Average Assets, Indicating Their Success In Generating Varying Levels Of Net Profits Without Incurring Any Losses From January To March 2024.
The List Revealed That 8 Banks Operating In The Banking Sector Exceeded The Rate Of Return On Average Assets Set By The Central Bank Of Egypt At 1.2% In December 2023 According To The Latest Statistical Statement Issued On The Central Bank's Website.
Return On Average Assets Measures Banks’ Efficiency In Investing Their Assets To Achieve Net Profits During The Analyzed Period. The Higher The Return, The More Efficient The Bank Is In Generating Suitable Profit Levels.
The Second Position Was Secured By ABK – Egypt, With an Average Return On Assets Of 2.99% During The first quarter of the current Year, Where The Bank Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 3.18 Bn During The Same Period.
Ahli United Bank Came In Third With An Average Return On Assets Of 2.33%, After Recording A Net Profit Of EGP 2.80 Bn During The Same Period.
Credit Agricole-Egypt Claimed the Fourth Position With An Average Return On Assets Of 2.12% During The first quarter of this Year, After Achieving A Net Profit Of EGP 2.29 Bn During Q1-2024.
HD Bank Secured The Fifth Position On The List, With An Average Return On Assets Of 1.88%, Having Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 2.43 Bn During Q1- 2024.
Commercial International Bank Took the Sixth Position With An Average Return On Assets Of 1.32% And A Net Profit Of EGP 11.95 Bn During the first quarter of 2024.
Alex Bank Claimed The Seventh Position With An Average Return On Assets Of 1.25% During The first quarter of this Year, After Achieving A Net Profit Of EGP 2.10Bn During Q1-2024. Followed By Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt with An Average Return On Assets Of 1.20% During The Same Period.
QNB Secured The Ninth Position On The List, With An Average Return On Assets Of 1.02%, Having Achieved A Net Profit Of EGP 6.85 Bn During Q1- 2024.
National Bank Of Kuwait – Egypt Came In Tenth With An Average Return On Assets Of 0.89%, After Recording A Net Profit Of EGP 1.28 Bn During Q1- 2024, Followed By ADB Egypt With An Average Return On Assets Of 0.88% During The Same Period.
