EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 38.778 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during August 14 2024, the index reached 38.778 points, compared to 38.673 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 6 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It rose against, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, Saudi riyal, US dollar, UAE dirham, it fell against Euro.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 49.41 to EGP 49.15 while the average buying decreased from EGP 49.31 to EGP 49.05 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 63.19 to EGP 63.14 while the average buying fell from EGP 63.06 to EGP 62.97 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt declined from EGP 33.53 to EGP 33.45 while the average buying fell from EGP 33.46 to EGP 33.38 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 6.89 to EGP 6.88 while the average buying fell from EGP 6.88 to EGP 6.87 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal declined from EGP 13.16 to EGP 13.09 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.13 to EGP 13.06 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 54.01 to EGP 54.18 while the average buying increased from EGP 53.89 to EGP 54.06 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.45 to EGP 13.38 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.42 to EGP 13.35 at the end of today's trading.
