EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 41.161 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during May 20 2024, the index reached 41.161 points, compared to 40.954 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It rose against, US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan, Euro, Japanese Yen it fell against pound sterling.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 46.90 to EGP 46.67 while the average buying decreased from EGP 46.80 to EGP 46.58 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 51.00 to EGP 50.72 while the average buying decreased from EGP 50.87 to EGP 50.60 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt declined from EGP 59.57 to EGP 59.28 while the average buying decreased from EGP 59.43 to EGP 59.14 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in decreased from EGP 30.13 to EGP 29.97 while the average buying fell from EGP 30.06 to EGP 29.90 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 6.49 to EGP 6.45 while the average buying fell from EGP 6.47 to EGP 6.44 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 12.50 to EGP 12.44 while the average buying fell from EGP 12.47 to EGP 12.41 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 12.76 to EGP 12.70 while the average buying fell from EGP 12.74 to EGP 12.68 at the end of today's trading.
