EGP index rose 0.201 points over a week, US dollar, and Japanese Yen most effective

The Egyptian pound index increased 0.201 points against the major of currencies over the week, it rose to 38.952 points, compared to 38.751 points at last Thursday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against all major currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It rose against, Japanese Yen, Saudi riyal, Chinese yuan, UAE Dirham, US dollar, Euro, and Pound Sterling.
The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 49.33 to EGP 84.95 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 49.23 to EGP 48.85.
The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt declined from EGP 53.91 to EGP 53.90 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 53.80 to EGP 53.79.
The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.75 to EGP 33.24 while the buying rate declined from EGP33.68to EGP 33.17.
The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP6.88 to EGP 6.83 while the buying declined from EGP6.86 to EGP 6.82.
The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt decreased from EGP 12.14 to EGP 13.04 while the buying declined from EGP 13.11 to EGP 13.01 to at the week's trading.
