EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 39.003 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during August 18 2024, the index reached 39.003 points, compared to 38.952 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 6 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It rose against, , Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, Saudi riyal, US dollar, UAE dirham, Euro, it fell against pound sterling.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.95 to EGP 48.86 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.85 to EGP 48.76 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 53.90 to EGP 53.88 while the average buying decreased from EGP 53.79 to EGP 53.77 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt declined from EGP 33.24 to EGP 33.10 while the average buying fell from EGP 33.17 to EGP 33.03 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 6.83 to EGP 6.81 while the average buying fell from EGP 6.82 to EGP 6.80 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal declined from EGP 13.04 to EGP 13.02 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.01 to EGP 12.99 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.32 to EGP 13.30 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.30 to EGP 13.27 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 62.96 to EGP 63.25 while the average buying rose from EGP 62.83 to EGP 63.11 at the end of today's trading.
