EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 38.775 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 25 August 2024, the index reached 38.775 points, compared to 38.869 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 4 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it Fell against Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan and settled against Saudi riyal, UAE dirham, it rose against US dollar.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 54.38 to EGP 54.66 while the average buying increased from EGP 54.26 to EGP 54.53 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 64.04 to EGP 64.54 while the average buying rose from EGP 63.89 to EGP 64.37 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 33.42 to EGP 33.82 while the average buying increased from EGP 33.35 to EGP 33.75 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.84 to EGP 6.85 while the average buying increased from EGP 6.82 to EGP 6.84 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP 13.01 while the average buying settled at EGP 12.98 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 13.29 while the average buying settled at EGP 13.26 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.84 to EGP 48.83 while the average buying fell from EGP 48.74 to EGP 48.73 at the end of today's trading.
