EGP index rose 0.136 points over a week, US dollar, and Euro most effective

The Egyptian pound index increased 0.136 points against the major of currencies over the week, it rose to 39.104 points, compared to 38.968 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index increased against 6 major currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against Chinese yuan, Saudi riyal, UAE Dirham, US dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling, and fell against Japanese Yen.

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.66 to EGP 48.48 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 48.57 to EGP 48.38.

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt declined from EGP 54.01 to EGP 53.84 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 54.89 to EGP 53.72.

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt fell from EGP 64.22 to EGP 63.85 over the week's trading while the average buying price decreased from EGP 64.07 to EGP 63.71.

The average rate of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 6.86 to EGP 6.83 over the week's trading while the average buying price decreased from EGP 6.84 to EGP 6.81.

The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt decreased from EGP 12.97 to EGP 12.91 while the buying declined from EGP 12.94 to EGP 12.89 to at the week's trading.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt fell from EGP 13.25 to EGP 13.20 while buying price declined from EGP 13.22 to EGP 13.17 at the week's trading.

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 33.67 to EGP 33.81 while the buying rate declined from EGP33.59 to EGP 33.73.
