The Egyptian pound index increased 0.091 points against the major of currencies over the week, it rose to 39.047 points, compared to 38.956 points at last Thursday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index increased against 5 major currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against Euro, Japanese Yen, Saudi riyal, US dollar, UAE Dirham, it fell against Pound Sterling, Chinese yuan.
The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt declined from EGP 48.56 to EGP 48.40 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 48.46 to EGP 48.30.
The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt declined from EGP 54.19 to EGP 54.02 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate decreased from EGP 54.07 to EGP 53.90.
The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 33.94 to EGP 33.53 while the buying rate fell from EGP33.87 to EGP 33.45.
The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt fell from EGP 13.22 to EGP 13.17 over the week's trading while the average buying price decreased from EGP 13.19 to EGP 13.15.
The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt decreased from EGP 12.94 to EGP 12.90 while the buying fell from EGP 12.91 to EGP 12.87.
The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 64.54 to EGP 64.82 over the week's trading while the average buying price increased from EGP 46.40 to EGP 64.65.
The average rate of the Chinese yuan in Egypt rose from EGP 6.87 to EGP 6.90 over the week's trading while the average buying price increased from EGP 6.86 to EGP 6.88.
