Emirates NBD, AAIB and Attijariwafa bank, Fastest-growing banks in direct loans during H1- 2024

According To First Bank List of Fastest-Growing Banks in Direct Loans, Emirates NBD-Egypt Topped the List With A Growth Rate Of 42.78% During The first half of the current Year, Increasing Its Portfolio To EGP 19.03Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 13.33 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

The List Revealed the Total Direct Loans Of 21 Banks In The Egyptian Banking Sector, Based On The Financial Data Available For Analysis During The Period. It Showed 20 Banks Achieved Positive Growth Rates in Their Direct Loan Portfolios, From January to June 2024.

Arab African international Bank-AAIB Came in Secured Place, Achieving A Growth Rate Of 42.31% In Its Total Direct Loan Portfolio During The first quarter of the current Year, Reaching A Value of EGP36.41Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP25.59Bn By The End Of December 2023.

Attijariwafa bank Secured the Third Position, after Its Direct Loan Portfolio Increasing By 41.82% During The first half of the current Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 6.91 Bn By The End Of March 2024, Compared To EGP 4.87 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

As For the Fourth Position, It Was Claimed by ABK - Egypt, With A Growth Rate Of 38.76% During The first half of the current Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP 28.40 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP20.47Bn By The End Of December 2023.

Alex Bank, Secured the Fifth Position with A Growth Rate Of 37.18% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The first half of the current Year, Reaching A Value of EGP 30.60 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 22.31 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

ADIB Egypt Secured the SIxth Position, With A Growth Rate Of 32.08% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The first half of the current Year, Reaching A Value of EGP 53.79 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 40.73 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Followed By QNB With A Growth Rate Of 28.93% During The Same Period.

HD Bank Secured the Eighth Position, With Its Direct Loan Portfolio Growing By 28.50% During The first half of the current Year, Rising To EGP 13.05 Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 10.15 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

Commercial international Bank-CIB Ranked Ninth with A Growth Rate Of 26.39% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The first half of the current Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP124.46Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 98.47 Bn By The End Of December 2023.

NBK Egypt Ranked Tenth with A Growth Rate Of 26.26% In Its Direct Loan Portfolio During The first 6 months of this Year, Reaching A Value Of EGP72.60Bn By The End Of June 2024, Compared To EGP 57.60 Bn By The End Of December 2023, Followed By ADCB With A Growth Rate Of 25.33% During The Same Period.

It's Worth Noting That All The Mentioned Values And Growth Rates Are Based On Separate Financial Statements Announced By Each Bank At The End Of June 2024.
