EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 39.298 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during 23 October 2024, the index reached 39.298 points, compared to 39.267 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 2 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against Euro, Japanese Yen, and settled against Chinese Yuan, and it fell against US dollar, pound sterling, Saudi riyal, UAE dirham.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 52.77 to EGP 52.58 while the average buying fell from EGP 52.66 to EGP 52.46 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 32.29 to EGP 31.91 while the average buying decreased from EGP 32.23 to EGP 31.84 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 6.84 while the average fell from EGP 6.83 to EGP 6.82 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.73 to EGP 48.78 while the average buying increased from EGP 48.63 to EGP 48.68 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 63.26 to EGP 63.27 while the average buying rose from EGP 63.11 to EGP 63.14 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.27 to EGP 13.28 while the average buying increased EGP 13.24 to EGP 13.25 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 12.97 to EGP 12.99 while the average buying  increased from EGP 12.94 to EGP 12.96 at the end of today's trading.
