Egypt’s market ends Wednesday on mixed note EGX30 increasing 0.57%
Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) has ended trading on Wednesday 30th November with market capitalization of EGP 870.048 billion.
The bench mark EGX30 closed with a slight increase of 0.57%, or 13,314 points.The EGX50 EWI went up by 0.18% to 2,282 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI also closed higher by 0.32% to 2,583.12 points and by 0.10% to 3,740.62 points, respectively.
Investors traded on 201 shares, 15 shares rose, 89 shares fell, and 53 shares remained stable.
However, the turnover amounted to EGP 3.52 billion after 1.15 billion shares were exchanged through 82.280 transactions.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 208.45 million and EGP 237.26 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 445.72 million.
