Credit Agricole, E-Bank, Faisal Islamic are best listed banks in deposits to assets ratio in 9M
Credit Agricole topped First Bank list of best listed banks in deposits to assets ratio with a rate of 125% during the first 9 months of 2022.
The bank’s total assets portfolio posted EGP 67.2 billion at the end of September 2022, while total deposits portfolio posted EGP 53.7 billion at the end of 2021
First Bank made up a list of best listed banks in deposits to assets ratio
First bank rating list, which included 11 banks listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange, revealed that listed banks recorded have a sound deposits coverage.
The Asset/Deposit Index expresses the ability of banks to cover their customers’ deposits using assets portfolios.
Egypt Export Development Bank (E-Bank) ranked second on the list. As its deposits to assets ratio recorded 123%, with total assets amounting to EGP87.04 billion and deposit portfolio recording 70.8 billion by the end of September 2022.
Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt came in third place, after its deposits to assets ratio stood at 121%. Its assets portfolio recorded EGP141.7 billion, while its total deposits portfolio recorded EGP 116.2 billion by the end of September 2022.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt “ADIB was in fourth place as its deposits to assets ratio posted 120.84%. Its asset portfolio recorded EGP 103.7 billion, and its deposit portfolio stood at EGP 85.8 billion by the end of September 2022.
The Commercial International Bank (CIB) came fifth, with deposits to assets ratio of 118.65%. its total assets portfolio recorded EGP 590.4 billion, while its deposits portfolio recorded EGP 497.6 billion by the end of September 2022.
