EGP index settled against a basket of major currencies at 38.076 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index settled against the major currencies during 17 December 2024, the index reached 38.076 points, compared to 38.073 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index settled against 3 currencies that measures the performance of the pound it settled against Chinese yuan, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, and fell against US dollar, pound sterling, and it fell against Euro, Japanese Yen.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 13.84 while the average buying increased from EGP 13.82 to EGP 13.81 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP 13.53 while the average buying increased from EGP 13.51 to EGP13.50 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 6.98 while the average buying price settled at EGP 6.96 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 50.84 to EGP 50.86 while the average buying increased from EGP 50.74 to EGP 50.76 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 64.17 to EGP 64.34 while the average buying rose from EGP 64.03 to EGP 64.19 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 53.40 to EGP 53.39 while the average buying fell from EGP 53.29 to EGP 53.26 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 33.09 to EGP 33.01 while the average buying decreased from EGP 33.02 to EGP 32.94 at the end of today's trading.
