ADCB's corporate Sector achieves significant Performance in 2024

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank - Egypt corporate Sector (ADCB) witnessed a remarkable development over the past year after the Bank's corporate loan portfolio jumped by 48.33% last year, reaching 43.77 billion pounds by the end of December 2024, compared to 29.51 billion pounds by the end of 2023, an increase of 14.26 billion pounds.
This growth was driven by an increase in the bank's common loan portfolio at a growth rate of 240% over the past year, registering 6.401 billion pounds by the end of December 2024, compared to 1.883 billion by the end of December 2023, an increase of 4.518 billion pounds.
The relative weight of the syndicated loans portfolio increased to about 14.62% of total enterprise loans by the end of December 2024, compared to a relative weight of 6.38% of the bank's total corporate loan portfolio by the end of December 2023.
Direct corporate loans to the bank rose by 44.22% over the past year, registering 28.55 billion pounds by the end of December 2024, compared to 19.79 billion by the end of December 2023, marking an increase of 8.75 billion pounds, gaining a relative weight of 65.21% of the bank's total corporate loans by the end of December.
ADCB Egypt's corporate sector contributed about 79.64% of its total customer loan portfolio, which rose by 45.43% over the past year, to 54.96 billion pounds by the end of December 2024, compared to 37.79 billion by the end of December 2023, bringing an increase of 17.17 billion pounds.
The bank's corporate deposit portfolio increased by 29.24% and increased by 21.15 billion pounds last year, moving from 72.32 billion pounds by the end of December 2023, to 93.47 billion pounds by the end of December 2024.
The corporate sector accounted for about 80.23% of ADCB's total customer deposits, after its portfolio rose to 116.50 billion pounds by the end of December 2024, compared to 86.64 billion by the end of December 2023, with growth of 34.48% and an increase of 29.87 billion pounds over the past year.
