ADCB's customer deposits jump by 301% over the last 4 years

ADCB Egypt has been able to achieve record growth in its total customer deposits over the last 4 years "specifically since the Bank launched its brand in Egypt in 2020," after the portfolio volume jumped at a growth rate of 300.57% and an increase of 87.42 billion pounds, registering 116.50 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 29.08 billion by the end of 2020.

 

Tracking the portfolio growth journey over the period under analysis, ADCB achieved the fastest annual growth rate in its customer deposit portfolio volume in 2022 by 83.63%, after the total portfolio moved from 41.11 billion pounds by the end of 2021, reaching 75.49 billion by the end of 2022, with an increase of 34.38 billion pounds.

The bank also witnessed the second fastest annual growth in its portfolio of customer deposits in 2021 by 41.35%, after rising to 41.11 billion pounds by the end of 2021, compared to 29.08 billion by the end of 2020, an increase of 12.03 billion pounds.

As for the growth of the portfolio volume in 2024, it rose by 34.48% and an increase of 29.87 billion pounds, registering 116.50 billion pounds by the end of 2024 compared to 86.64 billion by the end of 2023.

Overall, ADCB has achieved outstanding results in its key financial indicators over the past year, with net profits rising by 108.66% and an increase of 22.24 billion pounds, after registering about 4.27 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 2.05 billion during 2023.

Net fees and commissions income jumped by 58.32% and an increase of 375.60 million pounds over the past year, registering 1.02 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 644.06 million pounds in 2023.

In terms of the bank's financial position, its total assets rose by 36.81% and an increase of 36.09 billion pounds over the past year, reaching 134.16 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 98.06 billion pounds by the end of 2023.

The total portfolio of loans and facilities for customers jumped at a growth rate of 45.43% after the increase in the portfolio reached 17.17 billion pounds last year, registering 54.96 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 37.79 billion pounds by the end of 2023.
