Kuwait Finance House - Egypt's Corporate deposits  jump by 234% over the last 5 years

Kuwait Finance House - Egypt "Al Ahli United" Bank managed to achieve record growth in total corporate deposits over the last 5 years. 

The portfolio volume jumped by 233.6% and an increase of 64.06 billion pounds, registering 91.48 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 27.42 billion by the end of 2019.

Tracking the portfolio growth journey over the period under analysis, the Bank achieved the fastest annual growth rate in the size of its corporate deposit portfolio in 2022 by 37.81%, after the total portfolio moved from 40.47 billion pounds by the end of 2021, reaching 55.77 billion by the end of 2022, with an increase of 15.30 billion pounds.

The Bank also witnessed the second fastest annual growth in its portfolio of customer deposits in 2020 by 37.24%, after rising to 37.63 billion pounds by the end of 2021, compared to 27.42 billion by the end of 2020, an increase of 10.21 billion pounds. As for the growth in portfolio volume over the past year, it rose by 27.68% and an increase of 19.83 billion pounds, registering 91.48 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 71.65 billion by the end of 2023.

In general, Kuwait Finance House was able to achieve strong results in its main financial indicators over the past year. 

The bank's net profits rose by 65.11% and an increase of 2.16 billion pounds, registering 5.47 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 3.31 billion in 2023. 

The bank's portfolio of assets rose by 27.02% and an increase of 30.58 billion pounds over the past year, reaching 143.79 billion pounds by the end of December 2024, compared to 113.21 billion by the end of December 2023. 

The bank's customer deposits portfolio also rose by about 30.02% and an increase of about 27.03 billion pounds over the past year, registering 117.09 billion pounds by the end of December 2024, compared to 90.06 billion by the end of December 2023.

The Bank's total customer loans increased by 26.57% over the past year, after the portfolio volume jumped to 84.99 billion pounds by the end of December 2024, compared to 67.15 billion by the end of December 2023, an increase of 17.84 billion pounds.
