SAIB Bank’s individual loans portfolio grows by 15.12% in 9M-22
SAIB Bank - Egypt revealed that its total individual loans portfolio increased by 15.12 during the first 9 months of 2022, with an increase value of EGP 1.4 billion, according to its separate financial statement for the period end on September 30.
Total individual loans portfolio increased to EGP 10.6 billion at the end of September 2022, compared to EGP 9.27 billion at the end of December 2021, thus obtaining 25.86% of the total loans and facilities to customers.
Which lead to an increase in the bank’s personal loan portfolio by 24.14%; its total personal loans moved from EGP 6.06 billion at the end of December 2021 to EGP 7.49 billion at the end of September 2022, thus accounting for 95.16% of total individual loans.
In addition, the bank's mortgage loans amounted to EGP 1.4 billion, while the current account portfolio recorded EGP286.9 billion at the end of the same period this year.
The bank's mortgage loans portfolio jumped by 53.70% during the first 9 months of this year, bringing the total portfolio to about EGP 1.454bn at the end of September 2022, compared to EGP 945.6m at the end of 2021.
Furthermore, the bank's total credit card portfolio increased by 37.34% during the first 9 months of this year, to record EGP 286.9m at the end of September 2022, compared to EGP 208.9m at the end of December 2021. However, the debit current account portfolio declined by 28.54% during the same period of this year.
